Why natural gas, vs other fuel source?

Burning natural gas produces much lower carbon emissions when compared to other fossil fuels, such as oil or coal.

Natural gas is available in abundance. According to some estimates, the world’s oil reserves will last for another 50-odd years, while natural gas reserves can last much longer.

With advancements in power-generation technology, it is much more efficient to use natural gas to generate electricity than oil or coal.

Natural gas can be used to produce both heat and electricity simultaneously via cogeneration systems.
