Our Board

Mr Tang Kin Fei


Mr Tang is Chairman of Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd and SIA Engineering Company Limited. Prior to this, he was Group President & CEO of Sembcorp Industries, where he devoted close to 30 years of his career and has been credited with spearheading its growth into a focused energy, water and marine group, with operations across five continents. For his vision, drive, entrepreneurial spirit and exemplary contributions to the energy sector, Mr Tang was conferred the Singapore Energy Award (SEA) in 2017. Mr Tang also serves as Chairman of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Council, Vice Chairman/Director of Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, as well as a Board Member/Director of Summit Power International Pte Ltd, the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise and the National Research Foundation. Additionally, Mr Tang is a Council Member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Mr Thomas Chhoa


Mr Chhoa is a Senior Advisor with Economic Development Innovations Singapore and a lecturer on LNG Trading at the Singapore Management University. Prior to his retirement in 2016, he had a long international career with the Shell Group spanning 34 years. During this time, he served in various businesses and functions across Shell; including LNG/Gas, Chemicals and Refining in The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Australia. He was a board member of Shell’s subsidiary and joint venture companies, and held global leadership positions in areas such as LNG, Chemicals and Gas & Power.

Mr Clive Kerner


Mr Kerner is the Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of Clifford Capital Pte Ltd; and Chairman of SLNG’s Audit & Risk Committee. He is also a non-executive Director of Changi Airports International Pte Ltd and Pierfront Capital Mezzanine Fund Pte Ltd. Before joining Clifford Capital, he was Chief Executive Officer of Linq Asia Capital AG from 2007 to 2011; and prior to that, he spent 18 months in a business development role with a prominent Asian family office. Mr Kerner also had a 20 year investment banking career with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and was latterly responsible for the firm's Asian Utilities, Infrastructure and Project Finance unit based in Singapore. He has spent his career to date working in Emerging Markets, particularly Asia, with postings in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, London and Johannesburg.

Mr Augustin Lee


Mr Lee is the Deputy Secretary of the Singapore Ministry of Manpower. With more than 15 years in public policy and administration, Mr Lee has held various appointments including at the Prime Minister's Office, Ministries of Trade and Industry, Health and Labour, and at the National Healthcare Group. He is also the Chairman of the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management, Deputy Chairman of the Central Provident Fund Board, a Board Member of the Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices and a Council Member of the MediShield LIFE Council.

Mr Lee Eng Beng


Mr Lee is the Managing Partner of Rajah & Tann LLP and a Senior Counsel. He is also a Director of Ascendas-Singbridge Pte Ltd. Mr Lee is a commercial disputes and insolvency lawyer, and has been recognized in his area of expertise by a number of legal publications. He has been conferred the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) by the President of Singapore in recognition of his contributions to MinLaw’s insolvency law reforms.

Mr John Ng


Mr Ng is the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd. He is also the Chairman of the Workplace Safety and Health Council, and Vice President of the Singapore National Employers’ Federation, where he also holds the Chair for its Industrial Relations Panel. In addition, he is the Co-Chair of the Security Tripartite Cluster Committee and the Security Industry Transformation Map Tripartite Committee; and a Member of the PUB Board Committee for Risk Management. Mr Ng is a veteran of Singapore’s energy sector with more than 30 years of commercial and operational experience under his belt. Prior to joining SLNG, he was Chief Executive Officer of the YTL PowerSeraya Group, as well as Executive Director of Seraya Energy (a retail subsidiary) and PetroSeraya Pte Ltd (an oil storage and trading subsidiary).

Mr Piti Pramotedham


Mr Pramotedham is a Non-Executive Director of Littlemore Innovation Labs Pte Ltd. He was formerly the Executive Chairman, Group CEO and co-founder of Kronologi Asia Berhad, a holding company for several business entities across South East Asia that specialises in Data Storage, Data Backup and Disaster Recovery products and services. Prior to joining Kronologi Asia Berhad, he was an equity partner with Deloitte South East Asia. In Deloitte, he was the Lead Partner for the Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Practice where he served many customers in the Oil & Gas Industry. Before that, he held Managing Director positions with various entities within CA (formerly known as Computer Associates).

Mr Tan Ek Kia


Mr Tan is Chairman of City Gas Pte Ltd, as well as Chairman of Star Energy Holdings Pte Ltd, Star Energy Geothermal Pte Ltd and Star Energy Oil & Gas Pte Ltd. He concurrently sits on the boards of a number of organisations, including SMRT Corporation Ltd, Keppel Corporation Ltd, Keppel Offshore and Marine Ltd, Dialog Systems (Asia) Pte Ltd, PT Chandra Asli Petrochemical Tbk, Transocean Ltd and Kris Energy Ltd. Prior to his retirement in 2006, Mr Tan held several key appointments in the Shell Group, including the positions of Chairman of the Shell Companies of North East Asia (Based in Beijing), and Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Exploration and Production (Based in Sarawak).
