SLNG and MPA sign MOU for Development of LNG Truck Loading Facility
Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd (SLNG) and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the development of an LNG Truck Loading Facility at the Singapore LNG Terminal owned and operated by SLNG. The signing ceremony was held on 5 October 2016 morning, as part of the official opening of the 19th Singapore International Bunkering Conference & Exhibition (SIBCON 2016).
Under the MOU, MPA will contribute about S$2 million towards the development of the LNG Truck Loading Facility, which would be used to service LNG bunkering, as well as a variety of other industries that may require small volumes of LNG to be transported over land.
The LNG Truck Loading Facility is scheduled to be ready for business by early 2017.
