General Overview

This position is part of the Finance Team who is responsible for SAP Hana implementation and migration of the Finance modules for both holding and subsidiary company and involved in various aspects of the daily finance and accounting functions of the Parent and/or subsidiary company.
 

Roles and Responsibilities
The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following scope of tasks and duties:
  1. Working closely with Business Process team and understand the end-to-end processes for requirements gathering.
  2. Involved in the tender preparation to review and confirm Finance functional specifications at high level functions to be in scope.
  3. Involved in tender process, review and evaluate proposals, attend vendor presentations and select implementation vendor.
  4. Assist to review and facilitate sign off of design specifications, design test scenarios, perform and sign off User Acceptance Testing.
  5. Lead and implement the change management process working closely with Finance, Procurement and Operations team to facilitate integration of inventory, asset and Procurement system to SAP Hana.
  6. Working closely with Business Process team for the SAP Hana implementation of the Finance modules including migration of existing ERP systems,
  7. Perform inter-company reconciliation and responsible for payments and financial reporting matters of the subsidiary company.
  8. Supporting the Senior Accountant in the monthly financial close activities and month end schedules for the parent and/or subsidiary company.
  9. The incumbent shall participate in tasks as prescribed by the reporting manager.
Work Experience
  1. Only candidates with at least 5 years of accounting experience and prior experience in SAP implementation and migration will be considered.
  2. Conversant and experienced in using Microsoft Excel, for preparation and analysis of reports used in financial review.
  3. Experience in inventory and fixed asset accounting in an EPC or asset-heavy industry preferred.
  4. Possess the following attributes:

    • Able to remain composed under high pressure.
    • Good interpersonal skills: Able to address and diplomatically resolve interpersonal conflict where necessary.
    • Able to work towards departmental objectives with minimal supervision and be adaptable to changing priorities and assignments.
    • Meticulous with a sharp eye for details, self-starter, independent and with good initiative.
 
Education
CPA/ Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent.
