Ship Shore Compatibility

A vessel nominated to call at the SLNG Terminal is required to undergo a Ship Shore Compatibility Study (SSCS), as part of SLNG’s vessel approval process. The SSCS shall be submitted through SLNG’s Vessel Compatibility Assurance Screening and Approval (VCASA) digital application. Upon  successful completion of the SSCS and approval, the vessel remains physically compatible for berthing at the SLNG Terminal, except when modifications are made to the vessel that impact its compatibility with our Terminal. It is the vessel operator’s responsibility to notify SLNG of such modifications. An approved vessel is also required to undergo revalidation every three years.

Please contact MarineOps@SLNGCorp.com for more information, or if you wish to submit an SSCS request.

Compatible Vessels List

SLNG maintains a “Compatible Vessels List” that contains a list of vessels that have undertaken the SSCS and are currently deemed compatible with the SLNG Terminal. Click here to view the list.
