Gassing-up / Cool-down Services

LNG carriers that are newly-built, fresh out of dry-dock or completely emptied at their previous discharge port need to have their cargo tanks cooled from ambient to cryogenic temperatures, before loading their next LNG cargo.

Operators of such carriers will find it convenient and cost-effective to undergo vessel Gassing-up / Cool-down at the SLNG Terminal, especially if the carrier is already in one of Singapore’s shipyards, or if its next loading port is in the region. SLNG has delivered more than 100 such services since start of operations.
