SLNG begins assessing its Scope 3 emissions.

MARCH

1) Launch of ESG Screening for Tier 1 vendors, with a Sustainable Procurement workshop held subsequently.

2) The 5Y Carbon Reduction Initiatives have effectively reduced 8,485 tCO2e from operational processes.

3) Life Community Services Society presented an award to SLNG to commemorate 10 years of partnership. 

DECEMBER

Energy Management System implemented referencing ISO50001.

MAY

Climate change physical risk assessment completed per TCFD guidelines. 

MARCH

Digital Energy Management Information System (EMIS) platform implemented to track and monitor energy consumption.

NOVEMBER

First voluntary Sustainability Report published.

 MARCH

SLNG Sustainability Framework established, along with the identification of Material Topics.

DECEMBER

Installation of solar system with a capacity of 593 kWp at the SLNG Terminal.

AUGUST

Launch of first initiative to reduce Scope 1 emissions.

Off Spec Gas Recovery: Early take-back of off spec BOG from ancillary services (reduced 4.234tCO2e of Flaring).
