Mr Leong is Chief Executive Officer of SLNG. He is also a Board Member of PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, he was a member of SLNG’s Board for two years. Before that, he enjoyed a career of more than 28 years with the Shell Group, where he served in various roles across several portfolios in Refining, Chemicals, Trading and Supply, based in Singapore and the United Kingdom. He was also previously a board member of Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd and Shell Eastern Trading Limited, which included an appointment as President of SIETCO. His senior regional responsibilities spanned geographies East of Suez.

Beyond the commercial realm, Wei Hung has contributed towards the development of the next generation of leaders as an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Nanyang Business School, and a Mentor and Resource Person with the Philip Yeo Initiative.
